Common Questions

We get asked a lot.

What age can my child start diving?

Our Scuba Cadets programme starts at age 10. It's pool-based, supervised, and a brilliant introduction to the ocean world. Junior Open Water certification starts at 10 as well.

Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

You need to be comfortable in the water, but you don't need to be a competitive swimmer. A basic swimming competency assessment is part of your first pool session.

Which agency should I choose — DIVERAID or NAUI?

Both are internationally recognised and excellent. We lean toward DIVERAID for most students due to its modern curriculum, but we'll discuss what suits your goals best when you chat to our team.

How long does an Open Water course take?

Typically 3–4 days including pool training, self-paced theory and four ocean dives. We offer flexible scheduling to fit around work and life.

Can I dive if I have a disability?

Absolutely. We have experienced instructors who work specifically with disabled clients in our pool. We tailor every programme to the individual — please reach out to discuss your specific needs.

How do I become a dive instructor?

The pathway is: Open Water → Advanced → Rescue → Divemaster → Instructor Development Course (IDC) → Instructor Exam (IE). We'll support you through every step.
